Optic-2 is a professional optical camera detector that locates hidden or camouflaged video cameras.
It is highly effective and can locate a spy camera no matter if it is powered off or on and the type of video signal it transmits, as it locates the camera's lens from up to 50 meters away.
How does the Optic-2 work? Optic-2 uses the reverse reflection principle, an optical technology that detects the lens of a hidden camera by reflecting light off the lens. When the camera is present, you will see a green or red dot through the Optic-2 binoculars. The Optic's detection range depends on light conditions and if there is ambient light, but it ranges from 0.5 meters up to 50 meters, allowing for extensive inspection, whether indoors or outdoors. It also features a 6.5x optical magnification, making it easier to closely check on hard-to-reach spaces and small areas where hidden cameras might be placed.There are 5 operation modes available on Optic-2 that help improve detection and accuracy: continuous red, continuous green, pulse red, pulse green, and pulse red-green. These different modes are used to detect different types of cameras, including ones that have a special filter for avoiding regular detection. With 22 LEDs, Optic-2 can provide optimal illumination in both well-lit and low-light situations.
